This update included new features and fixes.

Performance Types

The analysis tools listed in the change log indicate which performance types they apply to e.g. KS4 or KS5. For individual updates listed under each tool the performance type may also be shown. Example:

Press Release (KS4/KS5) This tool is available for both key stages

  • Example fix one. No key stage shown; The change applies to all key stages supported by the tool
  • Example fix two. (KS4) This change applies only to the KS4 version of the tool

New Features - Analysis​

Course Tracking (New Tool for KS5!)

  • Track course performance over time (note: This tool was available for KS4 prior to this update).
New Tools

New analysis tools are automatically added to the Admin and User roles. Custom roles do not receive new tools automatically. An Admin user must enable them manually via the Roles tool. Access is not restricted by Performance Type - access to a tool includes both KS4 and KS5 versions, subject to the active paid Edition.

Fixes – Analysis​

Course Comparison (KS4/KS5)

  • In Table View, the Classes column now respects group start and end dates based on the active series only.

Course Overview (KS4)

  • Fixed an issue whereby the demographic rows were set based on the demographics from the comparison series instead of the active series.

Course Profile (KS4)

  • In Table View, the Classes column now respects group start and end dates based on the active series only.

Course Pupil Tracking (KS4/KS5)

  • Improved column sizing.
  • Fixed the way AC Years, Year Groups and Series are grouped and ordered in the grid.
  • Updated icons and colours in the Difference columns.
  • It is no longer possible to deselect the active series from the series selector. It will re-apply on pressing save.
  • The active course will remain applied when changing series within the same academic year (where the course exists, otherwise it will reset to use the first course alphabetically).
  • The Classes column remains populated when using series from different year groups.
  • The Classes column now respects group start and end dates based on the active series only.
  • Fixed an issue whereby using Performance Tracking or Course Tracking first with different cohorts would incorrectly keep those cohorts in the grid.

Course Selector

  • If a course is selected, it will now turn grey in tools where the selection has no bearing on the display.

Course Summary (KS4/KS5)

  • Additional fixes to Combined Science SVA scores. (KS4)
  • Gender Diff column renamed Sex Diff. (KS5)
  • Sex Diff column now only reports positive scores. (KS5)
  • Fixed an intermittent issue with the Export option. (KS4/KS5)
  • If a pupil has a grade in the comparison series but not the active series, they no longer register as Missing (they are now ignored). (KS4/KS5)

Course Tracking (KS4/KS5)

  • Fixed the way AC Years, Year Groups and Series are grouped and ordered in the grid.
  • If the performance type is changed (KS4>KS5) within same academic year, the active course will reset.
  • Changing Academic Years now forces the active course and main grid to reset.
  • It is no longer possible to deselect the active series from the series selector. It will re-apply on pressing save.
  • Updated icons and colours in the Difference columns.
  • The active course will remain applied when changing series within the same academic year (where the course exists, otherwise it will reset to use the first course alphabetically).
  • The Performance section has been fixed and now shows average point scores and prior attainment data.
  • Fixed the Export All option. (KS5)

Performance Tracking (KS4)

  • Fixed Download icon.
  • Updated icons and colours in the Difference columns.
  • It is no longer possible to deselect the active series from the series selector. It will re-apply on pressing save.
  • Fixed the way AC Years, Year Groups and Series are grouped and ordered in the grid.

Photo Reports (KS4)

  • All photo reports now repeat the header when a section spills onto multiple pages.

Press Release (KS4/KS5)

  • A Level Value Added score calculation fixes. (KS5)

Progress 8 (KS4)

  • The photo report now shows the Attainment 8 estimates used.

Results Overview (KS4/KS5)

  • Removed summary section (across bottom of screen) due to performance issues and calculation errors with the 'missing' row. This will be reinstated once fixed.

Value Added (KS5)

  • UPN now available in the Show Columns option.

Fixes – Admin​

Edit Series

  • Duplicating a series now forces recalculate.
  • The Create New option (loads the Series Creation dialogue) is now split into multiple steps.

Fusion Upload

  • Additional fixes to the KS5 upload preview showing KS4 fields.

Import

  • The Series Creation dialogue is revised and split into multiple steps.
