At 4Matrix, we listen to our customers and prioritise developments according to which areas will have the biggest impact. This roadmap provides a high-level overview of our key priorities and upcoming milestones. It highlights major tasks and initiatives currently in progress, or planned developments.

Our roadmap is not an exhaustive list of all work items - Not all background tasks and routine maintenance are listed here. Dates are indicative, and some features may incur additional costs.

Autumn 2026 - Developments
We are adding national data comparisons for KPIs and subject performance.
Allow data from 4Matrix Cloud to be exported via an API for use in external systems and reporting tools, such as Power BI.
Extend automated commentary to more tools, providing clear, instant summaries and insights to help users interpret their data.
New tool for KS5 KPI / key group analysis.
Update and simplify the import interface to make importing and managing data clearer, quicker and easier to use.
Integrating Pastoral data across more analysis tools.
Change pupil grades in the grid and see the impact on all measures in real-time.
Autumn 2026 - Routine Tasks and Maintenance
We expect the DfE to release the provisional KS5 VA coefficients in October and we will add them to 4Matrix Cloud when available.
We expect confirmation of the 2027 and 2028 qualification statuses for KS4 and KS5 to be released this term. We will add them to 4Matrix Cloud when available.
