4Matrix is provided by New Media Learning, the largest independent data solutions provider to secondary schools in the UK.

4Matrix offers a powerful combination of tools to support both schools and their Trusts in obtaining the maximum value from their performance data, with advanced, comprehensive and flexible data tools designed in association with our Trust partners. We don't expect our users to have to program their own solutions.

4Matrix Cloud is the next-generation data analytics platform for schools. Designed from the ground up, it provides a complete, hosted, cloud-based solution and supersedes the legacy Desktop and Infinity applications.

We launched 4Matrix Cloud with the first trial schools in late 2023, and feedback has been highly positive. We are responding to feedback, making improvements, and adding more features, prior to bringing additional schools onboard at different stages of testing.

The good news is that there will be no cost to existing 4Matrix customers to upgrade to 4Matrix Cloud. The current 4Matrix Desktop licence will transfer to the new system. There is nothing further that schools need to do at this stage to prepare for migration. Invitations for additional schools to try 4Matrix Cloud will be issued from September 2024 as we look to significantly increase the number of schools using this powerful new system between Autumn 2024 and Summer 2025.
