  • Terms and Conditions - The Terms and Conditions document sets out the terms under which New Media Learning Ltd provides access to and use of the 4Matrix Software and related Services to Educational Institutions and other authorised users. It governs the licensing of the Software, the provision of support and maintenance Services, and the respective rights and responsibilities of all parties. These Terms apply to the use of the Software and associated service delivery.

  • Data Processing Agreement - The Data Processing Agreement sets out the terms under which New Media Learning Ltd processes personal data on behalf of Educational Institutions using the 4Matrix Cloud software platform, as well as in connection with customers’ interactions with our support services. It applies solely to data processed within the software and through related support channels.

  • Privacy Policy - The Privacy Policy relates to use of our website, service delivery and compliance only.

Database Backups

For information relating to 4Matrix Cloud database backups and our data retention policy, please refer to the Data Processing Agreement, above. In summary: The 4Matrix Cloud database is automatically backed up as part of our Microsoft Azure backup schedule.

  • Full backups are taken once a week and kept for 7 days.
  • Daily backups are made and kept for 7 days.
  • Upon cancellation, we retain the database for the remaining duration of the School’s software licensing agreement, plus an additional period of 6 months following termination of the agreement.

Performance Measures

You should always verify the totals appearing in any of the 4Matrix products independently before reporting results. We do not accept responsibility for the consequences of results that are reported which are subsequently found to be incorrect for any reason - including the possibility of calculation errors in 4Matrix itself. Our liability is limited to correcting any programming faults that may be found.
