This update included new features and fixes.

Performance Types

The analysis tools listed in the change log indicate which performance types they apply to e.g. KS4 or KS5. For individual updates listed under each tool the performance type may also be shown. Example:

Press Release (KS4/KS5) This tool is available for both key stages

  • Example fix one. No key stage shown; The change applies to all key stages supported by the tool
  • Example fix two. (KS4) This change applies only to the KS4 version of the tool

New Features – Analysis​

Course Comparison (KS4/KS5)

  • Table view now shows a Class column.

Course Profile (KS4)

  • Table view now shows a Class column.

Course Pupil Tracking (New Tool for KS4 and KS5!)

  • Track pupil performance over time by course (note: This tool was named Subject Tracking in the legacy 4Matrix Desktop application).
New Tools

New analysis tools are automatically added to the Admin and User roles. Custom roles do not receive new tools automatically. An Admin user must enable them manually via the Roles tool. Access is not restricted by Performance Type - access to a tool includes both KS4 and KS5 versions, subject to the active paid Edition.

Fixes – Analysis​

Multi Series Selector

  • The available series are limited to the performance type – it is no longer possible to activate both KS4 and KS5 series. This applies to:
    • Course Tracking (KS4/KS5)
    • Course Pupil Tracking (KS4/KS5)
    • Performance Tracking (KS4)

Fixes – Admin​

Fusion Upload

  • Fixed an issue whereby KS5 series preview data would show KS4 data fields. Update 23/02/2026

Import

  • Fixed an issue related to column name UPN and using upper/lower case letters.
