Update 1st October

This update included new features and fixes.

This list includes items from the main update on 01/10/2025, as well as items from smaller patches throughout September.

New – Analysis​

Pages / Tools menu

  • Updated to show the tools that are suitable for KS3/4 and KS5. Note: KS5 functionality is not yet live/ready to use.

New – Admin​

Edit Pupils

  • Introduced a new user interface for easier navigation and management.

Edit Results

  • Added options to show or hide fine grades and grade dates.

Edit Users

  • Introduced a new user interface.
  • When adding a user who already exists in another school, a ‘User Linked’ email will now be sent to the affected user.

Misc​

  • Login screen: The password field now includes a ‘Reveal’ option for easier password entry.

Fixes – Analysis​

Course Overview

  • Expand Row: Pupil photos now display correctly.

Course Profile

  • Fixed a calculation error affecting negative residuals in the Groups widget.

Course Summary

  • Export: Cell contents are now capped to two decimal places, where applicable.

Dashboard: Help and support widget

  • Updated and expanded the list of help links.
  • Fixed a height issue that affected layout consistency.

Navigation

  • Improved colour-coding for non-active data fields (e.g. Pupil Filter = None), which were sometimes displaying as active (blue).

Fixes – Admin​

Basedata

  • Fixed an issue where removing basedata could trigger an error.

Edit Results

  • Changing a grade now correctly displays the new grade instead of leaving the cell blank.

Courses tool

  • Fixed an issue that could cause an error when adding a qualification to a course.

Logos

  • Uploading or updating a school logo now works as expected.

Import (Arbor)

  • Fixed an issue when importing qualifications without a discount code.

Import (Bromcom)

  • Now imports Preferred Forename and Surname (where available) instead of legal names.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented photos from importing.

Import (Spreadsheets)

  • Resolved issues affecting Base Data imports, including Scaled Score imports.

Series

  • Fixed several issues affecting the Courses view.
  • Resolved an error that sometimes occurred when marking pupils as not visible/included.

Staff

  • Fixed an issue affecting the Linked User field whereby the selected email address would not apply.
