New - Admin​

Bromcom MIS Import

  • Bromcom MIS import now available. Follow the steps in this article to connect Bromcom to 4Matrix Cloud.

Fixes - Analysis Tools​

Course Summary

  • The course links in Course Summary that open Course Overview are fixed.
  • Quartiles added for Comparison P8 Subject Score.
  • Quartiles added for Comparison Subject.
  • Export layout fixed, including population of AOB columns.

Course Overview

  • P8 columns and the A8 score and A8 target are corrected (and now match Course Summary).
  • If comparative series has pupils off roll, the Missing figures are now correct.
  • Fixed an issue whereby the Progress 8 section would sometimes not populate when a comparison series is active.
  • All columns now respect group filters:
    • Progress 8 > Pupils
    • Progress 8 > KS2 APS
    • Progress 8 > P8 Score
    • Attainment 8 > A8 Score
    • Subject > Comparison > APS
    • AOBM columns
    • The comparison grade columns

Course Comparison

  • The fields in the table in the middle widget are now in a fixed order, regardless of a comparison series being active.
  • When no comparison series is active, now shows the grades for the active series only.
  • Top-right widget updated from mixed to multiple.
  • Now shows some entries followed by name and +'#' depending on number of extra classes/groups and staff.

Course Profile

  • Filters are fixed in this tool.
  • Top-right widget updated from mixed to multiple.

Progress 8

  • Additional columns added via the Display Options menu now re-activate in the menu on changing series.

Results Overview

  • Fixed an issue where pupils without a grade in the comparison series were excluded from % calculations at bottom of each column.
  • Added Missing row to bottom of grid; detects % of pupils without a grade in comparative series.

Fixes - Admin​

Import (all routes)

  • Added notification if import fails / an exception occurs
  • Added option to remove pupils at validate and match pupils steps (achieved via small 'bin' icon)
  • Fixed AC year date issue whereby the end of year date sets to 30/08/XX, instead of 31/08/##.
  • Fixed an issue whereby Form Groups would not be created after deleting a series prior to importing.
  • SEN lower case values now pass validation checks.

Import (spreadsheets)

  • If a column is named Photo (short for Photography), it no longer causes an error
  • Fixed an issue whereby not all courses would map automatically, despite only one course instance/QAN in use.
  • Importing blank values no longer overwrites the following data items:
    • Disadvantaged
    • Ever6
    • FSM
    • Gifted
    • LAC
    • PP
    • SEN
    • Service

Import (MIS)

  • Fixed an issue where after creating a new AC Year and series, the series name would deselect from the series dropdown which forced the user to refresh the page.
  • During the MIS extract (at the point of data extraction), the back and next options are now temporarily disabled until the process completes.
  • In all MIS import routes, when the data finishes extracting the pop-up shows an i icon instead of a ! icon (! implies an error or warning).

Import (MIS - Arbor)

  • Further fixes applied to prevent duplication of pupils.

Import (Migrator)

  • Fixed an issue with the select file button not showing if the user opened/had used the main 'import data' option first.
  • Fixed an issue related to pupil membership dates. End dates will no longer be added to pupils 'out of year'.

Admin > Series > Open a Series > Courses tab

  • When deleting a course, an additional step now shows to prompt for confirmation.

Admin > Series > Open a Series > Pupils tab

  • SEN filter options no longer show numeric values.

Admin > Edit Results

  • Column chooser - demographics now populate when added to the grid.

Admin > Misc

  • Series Selector UI fixed in Courses tool.
  • Series Selector UI fixed in Edit results.

Admin > Groups

  • When bulk-deleting groups, if any year groups are selected by the user, a warning now shows to prompt for confirmation.
  • When viewing a group population, pupils are now divided by year group in the main table and in the 'add pupils' dialogue (note: to add pupils out of year to a group you must change the group settings to be linked with multiple year groups).
  • In the staff widget, the filter option now works on the Staff Name column.
  • All column filter options (in both tables) have improved layout.
  • When adding a new pupil to a group, the sort order of the pupils remains alphabetical.
  • When selecting a pupil(s), Bulk Actions button should now activate and display selected record numbers.
  • Fixed – Changes to membership dates (both in in-line editing and bulk actions) will now save accordingly.
  • If duplicate group memberships exist, Bulk Actions will display a "Delete Duplicates" option. This will only consider the Date (and not the time) when determining duplicates.

Admin > Staff

  • Bulk Actions > Delete Staff now works as expected.
  • Linked user field now opens dropdown correctly.
  • Export option > the Sex column shows correct values (instead of numeric values).

Misc​

Notifications

  • Now show correct time instead of fixed at '1 hour ago'.

Calculations

  • The Recalculate function is now a background job, regardless of where it's triggered (this is to help with general performance).
