BETA​

4Matrix Cloud is in BETA and is expected to remain so until summer 2025. Usage is limited to selected schools and Multi Academy Trusts.

There is no charge for using 4Matrix Cloud during the BETA testing phase. Schools can continue to use 4Matrix Desktop alongside 4Matrix Cloud.

During BETA, we expect users to report anomolies, glitches and bugs to us. These will be prioritised and addressed as quickly as possible. We aim to apply updates to the system outside of office hours (before 9am and after 5pm), however, there may be occassions where this is not possible. Total downtime when any single update is applied is approximately 20 minutes.

Changelogs will be shared with main account holders via email.

Database Backups​

The 4Matrix Cloud database is automatically backed up as part of our Microsoft Azure backup schedule. The following is provisonal, pending general release:

  • Full backups are taken once a week and kept for 7 days.
  • Daily backups are made and kept for 7 days.
  • Our cancellation policy, specifically with regard to how we handle and store a school's database on cancellation of the licence is under review and will be confirmed once the BETA/pilot phase is completed in 2025.

Performance Measures​

You should always verify the totals appearing in any of the 4Matrix products independently before reporting results. We do not accept responsibility for the consequences of results that are reported which are subsequently found to be incorrect for any reason - including the possibility of calculation errors in 4Matrix itself. Our liability is limited to correcting any programming faults that may be found. During BETA, we ask that users remain vigilant and report issues to us.
